On May 24, a Loong Boat Race would take place along Longgang River (demonstrative reach), in Longgang District of Shenzhen. 16 teams have been invited to take part in the race. It is not only a sports race, but also a chance to experience the clear water and the pleasant surroundings along Longgang River.

Meanwhile, a photography competition on the ecologically-revitalized Longgang River would also be held. Whether foreign or domestic, professional and amateur photographers are all eligible to participate in the photography competition, to record the new appearance of Longgang River and show the natural co-existence through their lens. The selected photographs are scheduled for exhibition from May 24 to 25, after going through the preceding phases: submission (occurring before May 14), primary appraisal (occurring on May 15), final appraisal (occurring from May 16 to 18) and result announcement (occurring on May 20).
